Edit: The endings features a large Game of Thrones spoiler if you haven't watched any of Season 4. I live in a bubble so it never occurred to me to mention this, very sorry if this spoiled GOT for anybody.
Fuelled by Patreon, it's Botchamania 252: The ProtoMengs.
Thank to...
Steve Corino for the lovely intro (Thanks Steve!)
EamoV1 for the Arrest Development
We Love Pro Wrestling for the Powers Rangers
Maddoxfanx for Smurf/Blue Man Group
Daniel Hullock for Batista Man Group
GuncannonD for MegaManTista
Music...
Sewer Surfin' by Kazuhiko Uehara, Harumi Uekō (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles IV: Turtles in Time)
Menu by Jun Senoue (Sonic 3D: Flickies' Island)
Desert Palace by Howard Drossin (Sonic 3)
Forest Funk (Ch 1 Light World) by dB soundworks (Super Meat Boy!)
Metropolis Zone by Masato Nakamura (Sonic the Hedgehog 2)
vs Kyle and Ken Katayanagi (Twin Dragons) by Anamanaguchi (Scott Pilgrim vs. The World The Game)
CHRIST, I didn't realise how much Sonic is in this video until typing up this description. Ah well, it's all good music. And unlike Nintendo, there's not much chance of it being taken down!
Payback had two crazy no-DQ matches that were worth a watch and not much else. Despite the actual quality of matches in Sheamus vs. Cesaro and RVD vs. Barrett, there's not much reason to care for either feud at this point as they've already wrestled each other dozens of times on TV this year. So no wonder Bluetista was the most memorable thing about the show.
That SUPER DRAGON clip is from months ago and it's always been pushed out due to too much content being in the video, so the impact may have gone. I don't know, you tell me.
Chikara's TWGP 2006 is an awesome series of shows, even better now that they're available to download on SmartMarkVideo.com along with just about every other Chikara show.
