Egyptian court dismisses murder charges against Mubarak

En Egyptian court dismissed murder charges against former Egyptian president Hosni Mubarak for the deaths of protesters in 2011 during demonstrators that led to his ouster. He had been sentenced to life in prison in 2012 for conspiracy to commit murder, but was acquitted on appeal. Corruption charges were similarly dismissed.Seven of Mubarak's close collaborators were also acquitted.
