Dal khichdi is a delicious meal, in which rice and dal are combined not just with whole spices but also with fresh vegetables. This imparts an irresistible taste and aroma to the Kichdi.

Ingredients needed for Dal Kichdi are:

- 2 tbsp oil
- 1 tsp Panch Phoron
- 1 tsp Ginger Paste
- 1 tsp Coriander powder
- 1 tsp Cumin powder
- 1 tsp Red chilly powder
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
- Salt to taste
- 1 bowl Rice
- 1 bowl Moong dal
- 1 bowl of Sliced carrots and beans
- 1/4 cup Peas
- 7 to 8 florets of Cauliflower
- 1 Potato (diced)
- 2 tbsp Ghee
- 1/2 tsp Sugar
- 1/2 Garam masala powder
- 3-4 cups of water

Finally serve this delicious Dal Kichdi with tangy pickle.
