India will soon get two new scooters from Hero Motocorp – The Hero Maestro Edge and the Duet. In fact the Maestro Edge launch might happen within a couple of weeks from today. The launch of the Duet will happen after that. The Maestro with its masculine look will target male scooter users, while the Duet, as its name suggests, will please both sexes.
Both the scooters will have much in common. It is expected that both the scooters will be powered by 100cc 8bhp engine capable of producing 8bhp power and 8.5Nm torque. Both of them will possess telescopic suspension and combined braking system.
The Maestro Edge spy shots that we saw earlier indicates that it five spoke alloy wheels, a redesigned head, a new digital-analog meter console and new tail lamps. The Duet on the other hand will get all metal body and chrome finished rear panels.
