World Leaders Accept 17 New Sustainable Development Goals

At the UN Sustainable Development Summit held over the weekend in New York, leaders of over 150 countries accepted 17 new goals to be implemented by 2030. Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro called for a debate on the goals so as to deepen the commitment to achieving them. He also charged that unjust wars of aggression are behind the current refugee crisis in Europe. teleSUR
