Bolivia Proposes Int'l Environmental Court

At the 2nd World People's Conference on Climate change, the Bolivian government proposed the creation of an international environmental court to deal with countries that do not fulfill their environmental commitments. Foreign Minister David Choquehuanca charged that many nations had adopted the corresponding international accords but had not met their obligations and that therefore such a tribunal was a necessity. teleSUR
