STORRS, CONNECTICUT-- A drunken 19-year-old University of Connecticut student has been charged with breach of the peace and criminal trespassing after he got into a heated argument with a food court manager over mac n' cheese.
The incident, caught on camera, shows an apparently intoxicated Luke Gatti at the UConn food court attempting to purchase an order of macaroni and cheese with jalapeno peppers.
One thing leads to another and Gatti got into an argument with with the food court?s manager, hurling obscene and abusive language. This went on for a while before Gatti eventually shoved the manager, but another employee managed to subdue him. Around eight minutes into the video, a police officer arrives, puts Gatti in handcuffs and escorts him out in front of a crowd of UConn students.
According to the New York Times, Gatti was charged with breach of the peace and criminal trespassing. He?s set to appear in court on October 13.
