WINDERMERE, FLORIDA — Police in Windermere, Florida released a series of creepy pictures Tuesday of nine passed-out women they believe may have been victims of sexual assault in an attempt to identify them.
Orlando ABC affiliate WFTV reports that the images were taken from videos found when police officers searched the home of Darryl Patterson in May after he was accused of sexual assault.
After the May search several women came forward with allegations against Patterson. The women told police they had been drinking with the suspect.
Although it was not clear if the women had been drugged, police said all the women reported waking up in Patterson's bedroom the next morning feeling ill and with no memory of the previous night's events.
Patterson first came to the attention of Windermere police earlier this year when a woman reported him for an attempted sexual assault.
During the search of Patterson's house, the police also found a video that showed Patterson having sex with three women who were unconscious or passed out.
The images were released after months of efforts to identify the women in questioned failed to turn up any leads.
Despite all the evidence, Patterson has never been arrested. Police continue to investigate Patterson in connection with a string of rapes across the local area.
