Flooding on Todmorden Road, Littleborough

Footage of major flooding on the corner of Todmorden Road and Church Street in Littleborough on Friday.

Hundreds of people fled their homes after heavy rain caused flooding in towns across Lancashire and West Yorkshire, and high waters even reached the cities of Manchester and Leeds.

The Met Office has issued two red weather warnings – indicating a danger to life – for the area and said that up to 12.7cm (5 inches) of rain could fall over the weekend.
