COLLIE BUDDZ live @ Main Stage 2014

Thanks to the versatility it takes to ride one drop and bashment rhythms with the same effectiveness and also sing a duet with hip hop stars, Collie Buddz is a prime example of a modern artist who has no qualms about breaking the boundaries between musical genres. His real name is Colin Harper and he was born in 1981 in New Orleans, but spent his childhood and adolescence between Bermuda and Toronto. His early idols were Buju Banton, Beenie Man and Bounty Killer and for a period he never left the house without his walkman wityh a cassette of Kilimanjaro Sound with Ricky Trooper at the controls. He has collaborated with renowned producers such as Bobby Konders, Robert Livingstone and Black Chiney. His hit "Come Around" in 2007 lead to madness on dance floors around the world and provided the title for his first CD , released on Columbia Records. His second album, entitled "Payback EP" was published in 2011 .He recently featured on Snoop Lion's cd "Reincarnated" for a duet on "Smoke the Weed".
