Piriformis Syndrome Stretches & Piriformis Syndrome Exercises http://SayonaraSciatica.com
In this video I discuss what piriformis syndrome is and show you piriformis syndrome stretches and exercises that you can do as home treatment for sciatica.
The piriformis muscle is a muscle deep within the gluteal region, that helps in the movement of the hip and thigh bone. When there is a misalignment in the sacroiliac joint (SI joint) and the piriformis muscle is involved, it can pinch the sciatic nerve and cause pain to run down your leg.
Other symptoms may include numbness, tingling, and weakness in the leg.
In order to come up with a diagnosis of piriformis syndrome, it is important to first rule out any involvement in the lumbar spine.
Any conditions such as spinal stenosis, herniated discs, and bulging discs can cause sciatic nerve pain as well. Once that is ruled out, then check the pelvis for involvement of the si joint and piriformis.
If you’re looking for sciatica home treatment options and want to avoid risky sciatica surgery (microdiscectomy), painful epidural injections, and addicting painkillers, make sure to visit http://SayonaraSciatica.com where I show you how to treat sciatica naturally.
