This is the video that shows Harrison Ford landing his plane on the taxiway at John Wayne Airport, narrowly avoiding a potentially serious aviation accident.

It all went down in Orange County California on February 13th, when Ford flew his yellow, single-engine Aviat Husky in hopes of landing on the runway… but for some reason, the Star Wars actor landed on the taxiway, and his publicist has yet to give any reason to the mistake.

In a sound byte, Ford can reportedly be heard asking if that airliner – a Boeing 737 with 110 passengers onboard – was meant to be underneath him.

Harrison has been an avid aviator over the years, but he’s had his fair share of close calls.

In 2015 he crashed his small vintage plane into a Venice California golf course and suffered moderate trauma.

Before that he made a crash landing in Nebraska in the year 2000… and another in California in 1999 during some helicopter training.

He has traveled to Washington DC to fight for pilots’ rights in the past.
