Caitlyn Jenner’s transition is complete.

According to Radar Online, in her upcoming memoir, The Secrets of My Life, the star reveals she had successful gender reassignment surgery in January of this year.

She writes, “The surgery was a success, and I feel not only wonderful but liberated.”

This comes nearly two years after her interview with Diane Sawyer where she disclosed her identity as a transgender woman. The 67-year old former Olympic gold medalist claims she’s coming forward now so people will stop inquiring about what’s between her legs.

Caitlyn called the process a complex decision because of the large health risks involved. But having all the right parts was worth the risk and she also says, “I’m tired of tucking the damn thing in all the time.”

After being frantic for the first few moments after the surgery, Caitlyn vividly remembers thinking; “I am going to live authentically for the first time in my life. I am going to have an enthusiasm for life that I have not had in 39 years since the Olympics, almost two thirds of my life.”

Jenner’s memoir hits shelves on April 25th.
