Rahul Gandhi will return from 2-month long sabbatical

Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi is set to return from his two-month long sabbatical on April 15 leading a Kisan rally against the Land Acquisition Bill . Two girls died and another suffered injuries when the wall of a motor room on the premises of a school in Chennai collapsed on Monday afternoon. In a rare move, the Supreme Court on Monday agreed on the basis of a PIL to examine the constitutionality of President's power to re-promulgate an ordinance on the ground that it subverted legislative process. The union government today said that the "sensitive matter" of the files pertaining to Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose should not be politicised even as it maintained that it was the previous government which was responsible for the leak which has triggered a controversy. China, which is yet to fully endorse India's permanent membership of the UN Security Council, on Monday said it supports India's "desire" to play a bigger role in the United Nations.
