TAMPA, FLORIDA — A tipsy passenger flipped his lid when he found out there wasn’t enough room for his carry-on luggage and was pulled of a flight by the police on Tuesday afternoon.
The incident occurred on Delta Flight 2646 in Tampa as passengers were boarding the plane the flight to LaGuardia, the New York Post reported.
Robert Tuttle, 60, popped his top when the overhead bin above his row was filled, authorities said.
Tuttle then yelled at another passenger and then got into it with a flight attendant, Tampa Bay TV reporter Kellie Cowan tweeted.
“He was upset with another passenger for having her bag above his seat. He threw said bag and yelled at flight attendant,” Cowan said.
Video of the altercation shows Tampa International Airport police ordering Tuttle to get out of his seat. When he refused, an officer grabbed him by the neck.
The man eventually calmed down and the cops but him in cuffs, according to the New York Post. Tuttle claimed to be a cop too.
Tuttle’s little freakout caused the flight to be delayed by two hours, according to flight records.
