「携帯電話に脇見」新東名で６台絡む事故

３日午前、静岡県島田市の新東名高速上り線で大型トラックなど６台が関連する事故があり、５人が死傷した。
警察などによると、３日午前１０時１０分ごろ、島田市大草の新東名上り大草トンネルで、大型トラックが前を走っていたオートバイに追突し、計６台が関連する玉突き事故となった。
この事故でオートバイに乗っていた愛知県豊川市の富永すみ子さん（５１）が搬送先の病院で死亡し、４人が軽傷を負った。
警察は、最初に追突事故を起こした広島県府中町の大保雄容疑者（５２）を過失運転傷害の疑いで現行犯逮捕し、今後は容疑を過失運転致死に切り替えて捜査する方針。
大保容疑者は仕事で広島市から静岡県焼津市に向かう途中で、警察の調べに対し「携帯電話に脇見をしてしまった」と話しているという。
