Head Balloki Fry Rohu | Lahore Street Food İ

Many restaurants in the vicinity of Balloki Barrage sell fried fish exclusively. People come from far away places during winter to enjoy fried fish with family. The fish is not real Carp (Rohu) but at much cheaper variety similar to carp called Thailah. It is imported from Vietnam and Cambodia/Bangladesh. Its frozen and then thawed to look like fresh fish. It tastes nothing like real Rohu. I wouldnt recommend going to this place just for trying the fish. For picnic maybe. Roads are not safe.\r
