Kota Fernández & La otra vereda nace el año 2016 como un proyecto en el cual el Rapero Kota Fernández busca la interpretación de sus temas con banda en vivo, a diferencia de la mayoría de los otros raperos que utilizan pistas, por lo que nace el concepto de "la otra vereda".
El estilo fusiona las letras mas crudas y contestarias del rap, con tintes de rock, funk y progresivo. Actualmente se encuentra en la elaboración de temas propios y próximos a lanzar el video clip del single "No se juega".
