Original Song | The Construct

This song came about because I genuinely don't understand why nihilism is supposed to be depressing. It is universally agreed to be the case, but I just . . . I don’t see it. Sure, you can make it depressing - just like you can do to any philosophy, but I don’t understand the inherence of hopelessness associated with it.

The lyrics and melody came at the same time, and so it was a thoughtless endeavor. When I picked up a guitar to fiddle out the progression, I found out it was a boring one, so I decided that Fsus2sus4 was an acceptable way to spice it up. Throw in some 6s, and I deemed it sufficiently interesting.¯\_(ツ)_/¯
