Ingredients:
6 chicken drumsticks
¼ kg methi leaves
For The Marination: 1 tsp garlic paste 1½ tsp ginger paste Juice of 1 lemon 1 tsp black pepper powder
For The Gravy: 5 tbsp mustard oil 1 tsp cumin seeds 1 tbsp finely chopped garlic 2 medium onions finely chopped 1 tbsp finely chopped ginger 3 green chilies finely chopped ½ cup yogurt Juice of ½ a lemon ¼ cup fresh coriander finely chopped 3 tbsp of fresh cream
Garam Masala Paste 1 black cardamom ½” cinnamon ½ star anise, water Method: - Marinate the chicken with garlic ginger paste, lemon juice, and pepper powder - Heat the mustard oil and crackle the cumin seeds. Then add the chopped garlic once they turn golden add the ginger and the green chilies and sauté for a minute and onions and fry until golden. - Add the methi leaves and saute for a few minutes. Add the yogurt and cook till the oil separates - Add the chicken and cook until the meat is done and then sprinkle the garam masala and mix well, garnish with fresh cream and serve.
