There are twelve million people born in Mexico living in the United States and some 36 million people of Mexican descent. One of the largest diasporas in the world. Although all maintain ties to their mother country weather through the money they send home, the close relatives in Mexico, the music they listen to, or the news they read, but governments are slow to create policies. On today's From Mexico, we will be talking about the organized efforts of populations to make their voices heard in both countries, their home country and their host country.
