Learn how to make Sultani Dal At Home By Chef Smita only on Get Curried.

Ingredients:
3-4 tbsp - Oil
1 tsp - cumin seeds
1 tsp - ginger paste
1 tsp - garlic paste
5 - green chilies (finely chopped)
2 - Onions (finely chopped)
1/2 - tsp turmeric powder
1/2 - tsp chili powder
2 tomatoes - finely chopped
3/4 cup - Mint leaves (finely chopped)
1/2 cup - Coriander leaves
Dal (Boiled 1 cup toor dal, 1/2 cup chana dal & 1/2 cup moong dal)
Salt to taste
3/4 cup - Curd
3/4 cup - Milk
3/4 cup - Cream
3/4 tsp - clove powder
3/4 tsp - cardamom powder
Coal
1 tsp - Ghee

Method of preparation:
In a pan, heat oil, add cumin seeds, ginger paste, garlic paste, green chilies. Saute them on a medium flame for a minute.
Add Onions and saute them till they're nice and pink.
Add turmeric powder and chili powder. Saute them for a minute.
Add tomatoes, mint leaves, coriander leaves. Saute them for a minute.
Add Dal to the gravy, mix it well and add salt to it.
In a bowl add curd, beat it well, add milk and cream. Mix them well and keep it aside.
Add clove powder and cardamom powder to the dal. Mix them well, switch off the flame and then add the cream, ogurt, milk mixture.
Mix them well.
Heat a piece of coal and place it in steel bowl.
Place it at the center of the dal, add ghee and cover it quickly and smoke it.
