Ingredients:-
1/2 kg Corn Kernels (Ground coarse)
3-4 tbsp Oil
Asafoetida
1 tbsp Mustard seeds
1 tbsp Cumin seeds
5-7 Green Chilies, slit
Curry leaves
2 Onions, finely chopped
1/4 tsp Turmeric Powder
Juice of 1/2 lemon
Salt to taste
Coriander leaves for garnishing
Method:-
Grind the corn kernels in a mixer, for half a second.
Heat oil in a vessel, add asafoetida, mustard seeds, green chilies, curry leaves, onion.
Saute the onions until they turn pink, add turmeric powder, Juice of 1/2 lemon and saute them for few seconds.
Add coarsely grounded corn, salt, a few splashes of water.
Close the lid and let it cook on low or medium flame for sometime.
After the corn is done, switch off the flame and take it out on a bowl.
Garnish it with coriander leaves and our Kansacha Kees is ready to eat.
