Speak Out India: Is poor law enforcement increasing crimes against women?

NewsX: On the eve of the first verdict in the trials of five rapists in Damini's case, the outpouring of emotion has faded. But the number of atrocities hasn't, if anything the number of rapes reported has more than doubled.There may be a greater willingness to record such crimes than before by potentially hostile authorities but it only goes to show the entrenched sexual violence in our country making it 'No country for women

In a country where women are deified and at the same time adored, I wonder how many more rapes it will take for our pols to have stricter laws and better implementation ,
