The Bugatti Chiron Sport '110 ans Bugatti' is a 20-unit limited edition car to celebrate 110 years of Bugatti in 2019. Visually the car is finished with specific optics and touches throughout to create a special look that's menacing and detailed so let's take a very exclusive first look at the car in the Bugatti Atelier ahead of the debut at the Geneva Motorshow.
Having introduced the Type 10 back in 1909, Ettore Bugatti started a company that has always been at the pinnacle of the automotive industry. Through various iterations across the years, in the hands of the Volkswagen Group we have seen the Veyron sit at the top of the tables for a decade prior to the initial launch of the Chiron 3 years ago. Last Geneva, the Chiron Sport was introduced that shaves 18kg of weight with further carbon fibre, stiffens the suspension for a more dynamic drive and adds a new exhaust system at the rear.
The '110 ans Bugatti' variant of the Chiron Sport features all of those upgrades as standard along with the Sky View twin-glass panel roof system along with a distinct finish in Matte Steel Blue mixing carbon fibre on the front sections along with a painted rear but retaining the same optics through process that are hard to replicated. In addition there are touches that feature the French tricolour flag both on the exterior with the French Racing Blue calipers, the painting of the flag on the underside of the active rear wing, and numerous further aspects to the interior.
Upon final preparation of the car at the Bugatti factory in Molsheim, France, we can take a complete look around the car including hearing it starting up and going into Handling mode with the wing raising, ahead of the public debut at the 2019 Geneva Motorshow. With 20 units to be built, ahead of even being shown for the first time - they are all sold!
Thanks for watching, Tim
