Learn how to make Chicken Momos at home with Chef Archana on Ruchkar Mejwani.

Super soft and juicy, Chicken Momos are simply irresistible, a great snack to munch on throughout the year, here’s our Chef Archana making Chicken Momos / Chicken Dumpling at home.

Momos are essentially dumpling that are steamed or fried in a special steamer. Chicken Momos Recipe is a delicious and simple momos recipe filled with juicy minced chicken. A street food special found mostly in Darjeeling or Sikkim. The fillings for these momos are quite simple and light. Serve this momos along with chilli garlic sauce.

Ingredients:
200 gms All Purpose Flour
Salt
Water
1 tbsp Oil

For Filling
1 tbsp Oil
1 tbsp Ginger - Garlic (crushed)
2-3 Green Chillies (crushed)
3 tbsp Cabbage (chopped)
3 tbsp Carrot (chopped)
1 Spring Onion (chopped)
1/2 tsp Black Pepper Powder
Salt
1 tsp Red Chilli Sauce
100 gms Chicken Mince

Method: Let's start with All Purpose Flour in the Bowl then add Salt, Water, Oil.
Next, Mix it all together and make a dough (as shown in the video) then keep it aside. Now let's make the Stuffing for which heat up the Oil in the Pan then add Ginger - Garlic (crushed), Green Chillies (crushed), Cabbage (chopped), Carrot (chopped) and Spring Onion (chopped).
Next, mix it all together properly then add Black Pepper Powder, Salt, Red Chilli Sauce again mic it together. Now add Chicken Mince and cover it then let it cook for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes use masher to mash the Ingredients then take it out in the Plate and let it cool down.
Now in the meantime knead the Dough properly, make it thin then add the Stuffing in the Middle.
Next, cover it in all the sides (as shown in the video), then place it in the Steel utensil inside the Pan with boiling Water (if the Steamer is not available). Do the steamer with the remaining dough and place the Momos in the Pan.
Now, cover it and let it cook for 15-20 minutes, after 20 minutes your Chicken Momos is ready to serve.
