Snapshot | Several former child slaves who were forced to work for Nestle USA, Cargill and other U.S. based companies specifically on cocoa farms in the Ivory Coast have filed a lawsuit against the various U.S. based companies under the Alien Tort Statute (ATS). But now Trump’s 9th circuit judge Mark Bennett has filled a dissent against the court rule supported by six other judges.
