MANILA – The owner of one of the vessels swept inland by the onslaught of super typhoon "Yolanda" in November last year plans to turn the ship into a restaurant and marker. Roble Shipping Lines Inc. and the local government of Tacloban City have reportedly agreed to turn the MV Star Hilongos into a restaurant after the vessel was swept inland by the storm surge caused by Yolanda. MV Star Hilongos is currently in Anibong district. Residents have been calling for the removal of the nine ships swept inland by the typhoon, as some of them believe that missing bodies were stuck beneath them. – report from Noel Alamar, dzMM
