Tianjin is often considered the street food capital of northern China, and it’s easy to see why.

Located just outside Beijing, this port city has a long history of trade, and with the booming business came street vendors and their food.

The city is known for carb-heavy comfort dishes like mung bean pancakes and pork buns. We checked out five must-visit spots.
