The Priest's Wife (Italian: La moglie del prete) is a 1971 Italian comedy film directed by Dino Risi with Sophia Loren and Marcello Mastroianni.

Valeria Billi is a former singer of various musical groups, disappointed by men and life. After discovering that the man she loved was actually married, she decides to kill herself by swallowing sleeping pills, but at that moment her eye falls on the newspaper that reports the advertisement for "Voce Amica 2121", a telephone service for people needy: this makes her want to talk to someone before leaving. Mario, a priest (but without declaring himself), answers her and at the end of the interview he hopes to have convinced her not to commit suicide....
