Lightning rips through the sky over southern France

Lightning ripped through the skies of Aix-en-Provence, France producing some incredible visuals on August 1.
Footage captured near Massif des Alpilles shows a barrage of lightning strikes in the foreground and further afield with some lingering in the sky.
Filmer, Pierre Olivaux, wrote: "My house, luckily, was out of range so I managed to capture some lightning in a slow-motion clip.
"This big one came out perfectly centred."
