When the good news broke that Penang-born K. Gurunathan was elected mayor of Kapiti Coast in Wellingon, New Zealand on Tuesday, his elder brother Gunabalan said he was not surprised as he describes his younger brother as someone cheeky yet generous.He said he always expected his brother to be a leader in the future for his dynamic views and being vocal in expressing criticisms.
