Expect genuine single-window for approvals by April 2021: Piyush Goyal

Speaking at the day 1 of ASSOCHAM Foundation Week, via video conferencing on December 15, Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal said the first cut of a genuine single-window for business approvals could be expected by March or April 2021. “Department for Promotion of Industry & Internal Trade is making a genuine effort to provide a single-window on approvals amongst various ministries at Centre, compliance of various laws in India & also at state & local levels. I hope that by March or April, you will see the first cut of a genuine single window that I can ease your compliance burden, helps you promote your businesses and focus on business rather than govt and govt compliances,” he said at the event.
