Residents get food supplies from a community pantry set up on P. Noval St. in Sampaloc, Manila, on April 16, 2021. Toots Vergara, owner of the Mang Toots Food House where the pantry is located, said he was inspired by the Maginhawa Community Pantry in Quezon City, which has helped a lot of residents. He also said he will continue to stock up on food for as long as he can to help out the needy during the pandemic.
