Posubao is a layered bun similar to a croissant. The only difference is that it’s steamed—and stuffed with a prized mushroom from China’s Yunnan Province.

This is the seventh episode in our 10-part series about different types of bao in China. In the next episode, we’ll head to Fujian to learn how taro bao is made. Stay tuned!
