Khairy Jamaluddin on Monday (May 10) defended the use of the Hotspot Identification for Dynamic Engagement (HIDE) early warning system but acknowledged the existence of ‘blindspots’ in the system’s usage.
Speaking to reporters, the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme (NIP) coordinating minister said he did not rule out the possibility of a business premise being re-listed as a hotspot location, if analysis of the HIDE system shows a similar situation may happen again.
