Over 110 businesses in Bristol’s Clifton Village have written an open letter calling on locals to support them in the coming months.
The village has been subject to a controversial pedestrianisation trial on Princess Victoria Street, a move that business  owners in the letter have said has driven customers to spend their money elsewhere.
Opposition to the trial is nothing new, with residents and business owners in the village accusing the trial of “destroying the dynamic of the area and could even lead to a fatality,’ when talking to BristolWorld last month.
Within the letter the businesses address the traffic experiment and how they are ‘desperate’ to work with the residents of Clifton Village.
