Chennai custodial death: Family of 25-year-old alleges police tried to cover up crime

The Chennai police did not want people to know what really happened, allege Vignesh’s family. Twenty-five-year old Vignesh was arrested by the Chennai police on April 18. He died the next day. Vignesh’s family allege he was beaten to death by the police, who later attempted to cover up the crime.
