Comelec Chairman Saidamen Pangarungan tells a press conference that the start of voting was smooth as precincts across the country opened at 6 a.m. on Monday, May 9, 2022. Pangarungan saw this for himself at the Andres Bonifacio Elementary School in Pasay City.
