A "queen" in this song is anyone who another person seeks out, who is willingly able to help that seeker with the physical and romantic parts of life. Sometimes man, sometimes woman, sometimes gay, sometimes straight. We all need a little help from our friends, and according to today’s guidelines, I can define “queen” any way I want.

I was inspired to write this out of nowhere. But once I got going, I decided to let it go where it wanted to go. Sexy little song, that it is.

A song about finding someone to love. Anyone. Just someone. Tonight.

I swear, I don't know where some of my songs come from. This one is from Left Field fer shur. I have always believed that, unless the material is outright offensive, a song has every right to be a song of its own accord. The Beatles taught me that on their White Album.

There are lots of "interesting people" in this world. The Sunset Queen is one of them.

That’s my story and I’m sticking to it.
