I've written a lot of songs in my life (and I’m not done). Each one was written during my system of “beliefs” at that time. That’s why some are non-Christian, womanizing, and Godless. This is one of them, yet I’m still proud of it as a song. I’m calling it one of my “Science Fiction” songs. LOL

I don’t believe in reincarnation now, but I was unsure of that when I wrote this song. Consequently, it has references to living in different planes of existence, all along the way. Even so, I still appreciate the way that point of view was expressed in this song. It’s a well-written song, lyrically. And the music and melody ain’t shabby either. I love the groove it takes on, with the steady drive and slight echo on Mike’s guitar.

Every song I’ve written is a moment of time in my life. Each one is like a child to me, carrying history, love, and yes, baggage. I will not abandon any of them, just as I would not desert a son or daughter if they were to go another way.
