The constituency MSP for Glasgow Pollock Humza Yousaf is to succeed Nicola Sturgeon as leader of the SNP and become Scotland’s First Minister after winning a party vote.
He beat Kate Forbes and Ash Reagan for the position, and will be Scotland’s first Muslim and ethnic minority leader.
