The short film Menschenkorper (2004) is an adapted version of "A Country's Doctor" by Kafka. Dr. Anton is summoned to a young kid whose death certificate needs to be filled up. He is escorted to a mansion where he is relieved to be away from his patients. There, he encounters the odd family of his patient, including the obnoxious sister, the stupid mother, the senile grandfather, who is laughing in his wheelchair, and lastly the young kid who appears to be neither dead nor ill. The doctor finds a festering wound as he is about to leave the estate.
