00:31 - Hey guys, welcome back to my channel.
00:33 Today I am doing a tutorial on this look right here.
00:36 So I wanted to do a fall look today.
00:38 I did transition into some darker shades
00:40 than I normally do.
00:41 I don't usually do a bold lip like this or a dark lip.
00:44 This is called Melted Fig from Too Faced
00:47 and these are the liquid lipsticks from Too Faced.
00:49 They're called Melted,
00:50 which they are super creamy and super pigmented.
00:53 I know Anastasia Beverly Hills has a few liquid,
00:57 or not a few, she has a lot of liquid lipsticks,
00:59 which I absolutely love, but these are going to be
01:02 a little bit creamier than hers.
01:04 That's the only difference between the formula,
01:06 that these are much creamier and more velvety on the lip.
01:10 And I also used the Kat Von D Shade and Light palette
01:14 for the eyes.
01:15 She does have one for contouring,
01:17 but this is what the eye one looks like right here.
01:19 It's beautiful.
01:21 She has some lighter shades through here,
01:22 some really good transition shades.
01:24 I used this one today.
01:25 It's like a peachy color.
01:27 It's beautiful.
01:28 And then they're super creamy.
01:29 So they're nice.
01:30 They're not as pigmented as Makeup Geeks,
01:33 but they're pretty close.
01:35 So I'm absolutely loving this palette.
01:36 All right, I'm gonna stop talking
01:38 and I'm going to get on with the tutorial.
01:39 I hope that you guys enjoy it.
01:41 Give this video a thumbs up if you like it
01:43 and don't forget to subscribe.
01:44 I will see you on my next tutorial.
01:46 Bye guys.
01:47 So I am starting off this tutorial today
01:50 by priming my eyes with this MAC Paint Pot right here.
01:54 Like I typically do, I will just spread it from my lid
01:56 to my upper brow bone.
01:57 Now I'm taking the Kat Von D Shade and Light Eye Palette
02:02 and I am taking the shade, I think you pronounce it Leydas?
02:06 Leydas or something like that.
02:08 And it's just this beautiful, very pink nude shade.
02:13 And I absolutely love it for a transition color.
02:16 It is an amazing transition color.
02:18 I am following this by putting this into my crease area
02:21 with my Sigma Tapered Blending E40 brush.
02:24 And I will just be taking Windchill Wiper Motions,
02:27 just going from my outer corner to my inner corner.
02:29 And then on my outer corner,
02:31 I will typically just go in circular motions
02:33 just to smoke it out a little bit
02:35 and bring it up more towards my brow bone.
02:37 Now I am moving on to my second shade
02:42 and this is called Letizia.
02:45 I think that's how you pronounce it.
02:46 I absolutely love Kat Von D because she is so original
02:49 with the names of her eyeshadows.
02:51 I mean, they're just very, to me they're very classy
02:54 versus other eyeshadow names in the industry,
02:57 like NARS, NARS has a lot of raunchy names.
03:00 And we all know what those are.
03:01 If you don't, go ahead and head over to NARS's website
03:05 and just check out a few of their names
03:06 and you'll be very quick to judge.
03:08 You'll be like, oh wow, that's interesting.
03:10 And anyway, so she just, I think she does a very good job
03:15 at naming her eyeshadows.
03:17 They're so original and I love it.
03:18 So yes, I'm taking the shade Letizia.
03:21 It's just a very beautiful, warm brown.
03:24 And not so much on the warm side,
03:25 but it's just like a really nice neutral brown shade.
03:27 So I'm just gonna shade that into my crease area
03:29 and I am focusing more so on my crease area
03:32 instead of smoking it out into my brow area.
03:35 Now I'm going to be taking this purpley shade
03:38 from the Anastasia Beverly Hills Artist Palette
03:41 and this is the Morphe M514 brush.
03:44 So I'm taking this from my outer corner
03:47 and smoking it into my crease.
03:49 I don't want this shade to be very dramatic,
03:52 but later on whenever we go in with that bold lip,
03:54 I just want this purple to stand out just a tiny bit,
03:57 just so that we can match something in the face.
04:01 For you beginner artists watching my channel,
04:03 I would definitely recommend for you
04:05 to pick up this blending brush because it's so small.
04:07 It's not thick like the MAC 217.
04:10 The bristles are very small and tight at the end
04:12 so it can really get into your crease.
04:14 And it's not, it makes it easier
04:17 so that you're not smoking a dark color out
04:20 into your upper brow bone.
04:21 So it keeps everything in that outer crease area
04:23 and your mid crease.
04:25 Now with my Sigma E30 pencil brush,
04:28 I'm going to be taking this beautiful red earth brown tone
04:31 from the same palette,
04:33 the Shade and Light Kat Von D Eye Palette.
04:35 And I'm taking the shade Lucius.
04:38 It's just a very beautiful warm tone.
04:39 You guys know that I love, love, love my warm tones.
04:43 So I'm going to be taking that
04:45 and just carving out my outer V
04:47 and then smoking it into my crease area
04:50 with a MAC 217 brush.
04:52 (silence)
04:54 For my lid area, I'm going to be applying Magic Act
05:00 by Makeup Geek, which is just this very beautiful,
05:03 shimmery gold shade.
05:05 I'm applying this with my MAC 242 brush.
05:07 It's just a flat shader by MAC.
05:10 And you can also apply these with your fingers.
05:13 I just prefer using the shader
05:15 because it just applies it more evenly
05:18 and more in a direct area instead of using your finger.
05:21 (silence)
05:23 After I'm done applying the shade,
05:29 I will always go back in with that fluffy brush
05:31 that I used before with no additional product on it,
05:34 just to make sure that that is all blended out and even.
05:37 I always start my winged liner in the inner corner of my eye
05:43 with the Kat Von D Ink Liner just because it's so precise
05:46 and it really just creates a smooth application
05:50 because I feel like the inner corner of my eyes
05:52 are just a little bit more wrinkly than they should be.
05:55 So I will just go in with that Kat Von D Ink Liner.
05:58 Then on the outer corner of my eye,
06:00 I will create that wing
06:02 with Blackest Black Maybelline Gel Liner.
06:05 And that stuff is just great.
06:06 The name itself just describes the liner.
06:08 So I just go in there
06:10 and create a very beautiful winged out look.
06:13 To clean up any harsh edges or lines,
06:19 I'm just gonna be going in with a Neutrogena Makeup Remover
06:23 and it can honestly be any liquid remover.
06:25 I just find that the liquid removers work the best.
06:28 I will be dipping a clean angled brush
06:30 into that makeup remover
06:31 and just matching the wing up with my lower lash line
06:34 and just creating a very beautiful, precise wing.
06:38 I will be priming my face
06:40 with the Tarte Clean Slate Poreless Primer.
06:43 I just apply this to my T-zone area
06:45 because I find that that is where I get the most shine
06:48 throughout the day.
06:49 Then spraying the Smashbox Photo Finish Primer Water
06:52 all over my face.
06:54 I have just been extremely, extremely dry lately.
06:57 So I'm just going to generously spray that all over my face.
07:01 The foundation that I'm using for this look is Dior Skin,
07:05 the Nude Air Foundation.
07:07 I am in the shade 010.
07:09 In case you guys were wondering,
07:10 this foundation is super liquidy.
07:12 So I will put it on my hand
07:13 and then dab my brush in the product.
07:16 Then I will dab it onto my face.
07:18 You want to take dabbing motions instead of strokes
07:21 because if you stroke this foundation,
07:23 since it is super liquidy,
07:26 it will just leave the strokes
07:27 from your brush hairs on your skin and it won't be pretty.
07:30 So if you take the dabbing motions,
07:32 it will leave the flawless airbrush effect on your skin.
07:37 Then moving on to concealer,
07:40 I am using my favorite concealer,
07:42 which is the Naked Skin by Urban Decay,
07:45 the Weightless Complete Coverage Concealer.
07:47 I am in the shade light neutral.
07:49 In case you guys were wondering,
07:50 I just really will go throughout my face and highlight.
07:53 First, I will make a triangular section under my eye area
07:56 and then I will highlight my forehead down to my nose.
07:59 I will put a little bit of concealer on my chin
08:02 and just depending what my nose is looking like that week,
08:04 if I am more like, if I have flaky skin under my nose,
08:07 I will just apply a little bit of concealer
08:09 to hide that flakiness.
08:11 Then I will be blending out my concealer
08:13 with a damp beauty blender like always.
08:16 And the more damp your beauty blender is,
08:18 the more foundation it will pick up
08:21 or more concealer it will pick up
08:22 so that you guys don't get that cakey effect.
08:25 I will be setting my concealer
08:29 with my Laura Mercier Translucent Setting Powder
08:31 and I will just pick this up with my beauty blender.
08:34 Depending on what I feel like, if I want to be more bright,
08:37 I will pack that powder onto my beauty blender
08:40 and just really go under my eyes
08:42 and pack on that powder under my eye area
08:45 and that will create more of a brighter effect.
08:48 With my Sigma Flat Definer Brush,
08:58 I'm just gonna go back in with that
09:00 Shade in Light Eye Palette by Kat Von D
09:02 and that second shade that we used in the eye,
09:06 that medium brown color, I'm just gonna go in
09:08 and really pack that shade on on my lower lash line
09:11 and then shade it out later on with a pencil brush.
09:15 And I am so sorry that I have not been mentioning
09:18 the lashes that I have been wearing lately,
09:20 but these are the Velour Lashes.
09:23 For my eyeliner, I'm going to be applying
09:25 Urban Decay 24/7 Eyeliner and this is in,
09:29 I'm not positive what the shade is called,
09:31 but it is a dark brown shade.
09:33 I wanted to use dark brown for this look
09:35 because it is a fall-inspired look.
09:37 I didn't want it to be too glamorous, too dark,
09:39 so I just used a dark brown eyeliner pencil from Urban Decay.
09:44 I am going to be bronzing my face with the Too Faced,
09:50 this is the Dark Chocolate Soleil.
09:52 This stuff is beautiful.
09:54 I actually should have gone with a shade lighter
09:57 because I really am not that tan.
09:59 I am literally the lightest shade
10:02 in every foundation out there.
10:04 So there is a difference between bronze and contour.
10:06 If you are looking to bronze your cheeks,
10:08 I would definitely pick up this Dark Chocolate Soleil
10:11 by Too Faced because it does sit a little bit more warm.
10:15 It definitely has an orange undertone.
10:17 So if you're looking to contour,
10:20 I would recommend picking up an ashy-based bronzer.
10:23 To clean up my contour, I'm going to create
10:27 a very defined line with the same products
10:30 that I used under my eye area,
10:31 and that is the Beauty Blender
10:32 and the Laura Mercier Translucent Setting Powder.
10:35 To pick up any excess powder left over
10:37 from that Translucent Setting Powder,
10:39 I'm going to be going in with a 61 brush from Sephora.
10:41 This is the Pro Oliver Powder Brush,
10:43 and I call this the pillow brush.
10:45 Actually, my friend told me that.
10:46 He's like, "This is the pillow brush.
10:48 "It's so soft and so fluffy."
10:50 The blush that I'm going to be using is by MAC.
10:52 This is called Spring Sheen.
10:54 It just has a very slight hue of a sparkle.
10:57 It just has this very nice, natural sheen to it.
11:00 It's beautiful.
11:01 It looks great on any skin type.
11:02 It can really give anybody just a very natural,
11:05 soft, rosy glow look on their cheek area.
11:08 To highlight my cheeks, I'm going to be using
11:11 Jaclyn Hill's collaboration with
11:13 Becca Cosmetics Champagne Pop.
11:15 I'm applying this with my Morphe M601 Fan Brush.
11:19 I just have to say that, hands down,
11:21 this has been the most amazing highlighter
11:23 that I have ever used.
11:25 It just creates such a natural, soft glow to anybody.
11:29 I kind of go overboard with my highlighter.
11:31 You can just dust a little bit on this cheek area.
11:34 If you're not comfortable with highlighters yet,
11:35 because I know that this strobing effect
11:38 that people have been talking about lately
11:39 is just upcoming.
11:40 The contouring's going out, the strobing is coming in.
11:43 I just go way too far with my highlighter.
11:46 I just want it all over my face.
11:48 You can apply this to whatever you're comfortable with,
11:52 but I do go overboard.
11:53 I apply way too much highlighter.
11:55 I'm okay with that, because I want to be sparkly.
11:57 That's just me, but you do you.
11:59 You apply however much product you feel comfortable with.
12:02 (silence)
12:05 I am using Melted Fig by Too Faced.
12:09 This is their Melted Liquid Lipstick line.
12:12 I know that I talked about this in my intro,
12:13 but they are super creamy and super velvety.
12:16 They are just so moisturizing, to be honest.
12:18 Even though it's a liquid lipstick,
12:20 I am shocked by how moisturizing
12:22 these liquid lipsticks are.
12:24 I'm going to be highlighting my brow bone
12:30 and my inner corner of my eye with Nylon by MAC.
12:32 I'm using the Morphe, this is the E39 brush.
12:37 It's just a very flat, compacted bristle brush.
12:40 It's super tiny, so it's great for a very precise highlight.
12:45 I love MAC Nylon.
12:46 I know that I have talked about this a lot,
12:48 but it's not too dramatic,
12:49 so it's just perfect for a brow bone highlight.
12:51 I'm going to be setting my face, of course,
12:52 with the Urban Decay All Nighter Makeup Setting Spray.
12:55 And that is it for this look, you guys.
12:57 I hope that you liked it.
12:59 If you do love this video, please give it a thumbs up
13:01 and don't forget to subscribe.
13:03 Okay, guys, I'll see you on my next tutorial.
13:05 Bye.
