00:00 Hi friends welcome back to my channel today's tutorial is a hairstyle
00:07 tutorial and this one is an easy formal updo hairstyle which is suitable for
00:14 bridal and prom and any formal occasion so let's get started. Begin by sectioning
00:22 your hair into two equal parts by doing a middle partition and I'm going to
00:29 start with one portion and start begin braiding just like how you would do a
00:34 normal braid and once you do one round of that normal braid start doing more
00:45 like a French braid taking a section of hair from the top and adding it to the
00:49 top piece and bringing it to the middle and from the bottom instead of picking
00:53 up more hair you pick up the same strand of hair and bring it to the middle and
01:01 then again from the top you add an equal amount of hair to that existing top
01:07 portion of hair bring it to the middle and from the bottom just continue with
01:12 that bottom piece of hair without adding any hair so I would say it's like kind
01:18 of partially French braid and you keep doing it and then you keep moving
01:28 towards the center of the hair like so
01:37 and once you reach to the center you stop it there and then you do a regular
01:47 braid I would freeze that braid at this point in time and continue on the left
01:56 part again I start with braiding a normal braid and then once I do one
02:06 round of that normal braid I pick up some part of hair and then add it to
02:16 that top portion bring it to the middle and then when you bring the bottom
02:20 portion to the middle you're not adding any hair and then again on the top add
02:26 some hair bring it to the middle and continue doing so just like you did with
02:32 the other part of the half of the hair and bring it all the way to the bottom
02:39 middle to the nape of your neck basically and once you have done this
02:47 continue braiding that hair in a normal braid all the way till the end as you
02:54 can see also braid the other section which we left now take the right braid
03:02 and bring it under the left braid and wrap it all the way around bringing it
03:07 to the top half just over the ear and tuck it with bobby pins now bring the
03:15 remaining hair upside down just like you see all the way to the middle and secure
03:24 it again using bobby pins now taking the left braid bringing on top of the right
03:31 braid all the way to the middle of the crown just over the neck and bring the
03:41 remaining portion again to the bottom all the way to the middle and secure
03:45 these two ends of the two braids using bobby pins again how you see now I'm
03:55 using a pearl strand and I'm going to run it over the boundary of the top
04:03 braid and secure it using bobby pins again I'm using a flower in the middle
04:08 just to make it look more formal and pretty and this is how the final look is
