00:00 do the skin fade. Now this one I just showed here like number one and a half on the side
00:06 and here this is number zero so I create the line. Now I'm going to go for with the blade
00:11 skin fade. Before I go with the blade I will suggest anybody if you're going to do with blade
00:17 create a line for the blade make nice and sharp. You can start from the back first
00:29 or just to show to the camera that's why I start from the side. I'm going with this one quite lower.
00:36 Now it is not necessary that you're going to go because you made this line so straight the second
00:49 line for the blade have to be straight as well. You can go different way different angle lower
00:54 higher wherever you want. Now I brought this one lower just the couple of things you have to watch
01:01 to make equal both sides. So here above the is two millimeters and we come like that gap here.
01:10 If you keep that in mind then absolutely you can go perfectly right. Now here I'm going quite lower
01:22 from the line so here is the gap and here is nearly double gap. So I'm going to create this line first
01:29 and that that line it will be like a guideline for me
01:42 to work with my blades. When you're working with your blade make sure
01:50 every client they should have new blades so don't do one many clients with same blades.
01:58 It's health and safety and especially with GBBA we always health and safety is one of
02:05 our main priority. We make sure everybody change them blades while they're doing steel plate or
02:11 with a beard whatever they do. Now that gap is here as we say it's very important. Now I just
02:21 connect this here to that guideline. There we go so you have not to be perfect visible all I'm doing
02:33 is to make sure that when I do with the blades I get nice line. Now the one thing especially for
02:47 the new learners I will say stand behind it and check that equal side if this is both sides is
02:54 equal. Now after you've done that as much as you can try to change your blade in front of the pine
03:03 don't do it before hand always change your blade in front of the pine. So
03:08 I use couple different blades
03:19 mainly I use the Turkish Coutro also I have the Bluebeard Revenge Coutro as well.
03:28 If you're doing with Turkish blade always cut this corner with scissors and that will make
03:38 much easier for you even if you're wearing the gloves it's easy for you to put in
03:46 quite nice and smooth. Here we go now I have another thing to show you in America especially
03:55 they're doing a lot of hair that they shave with oil so they're not using the firm on anything. So
04:04 shaving oil just little bit shaving oil around it and that is absolutely make huge difference.
04:14 It's another things if you especially ladies hairdresser they have Olaplex number two you can
04:21 use the Olaplex number two and that it will smooth the skin while you're doing the with the blade.
04:27 Now the water it does open the cuticle and it's straight away activate that skin is getting more
04:42 warmer as soon as you put the water and you can feel the heat is coming up that heat is soften
04:47 the the hair on the scalp so it's absolutely it's crucial to make nice and soft before you start.
04:56 So as I say with the blade is just a guideline for me where I'm gonna go
05:09 it's important now I have done one side
05:14 it's not hard believe it or not with the blade some people they're feeling very hard like this
05:24 is very very dangerous. Let me say one thing is and everything's anything's in your mind
05:32 in your mind if you think it's easy you can do it easy. Let's say this way if if I you've never
05:38 done anything with the blade you've never done any shave and I changed the blade and I gave you
05:44 the blade and I said to you all I need from you just line from here to here shave it with no cut
05:53 will you do it yes you will do it if you can do this small piece then do another small piece then
05:59 do another small piece then if you can do this small piece why can you not do another small
06:04 piece next to it why can't you do another small piece next to it so that means you can do it
06:08 all is in your mind that you can't do it your mind if say to you that you can do it then you will do
06:16 it so you have to believe it that you can do it if you believe in it nothing's impossible everything
06:23 is possible you absolutely can do anything everything is in your mind. In the past in the
06:32 past it was like taking six months two years and now sorry two years three years to teach somebody
06:40 hairdressing but now we understand we believe in everything that's in mind and we can teach anybody
06:49 from non barber to barber in six months and to make you good barber with advanced
07:00 one-to-one courses with GBBA we do teach you everything from shaving to traditional barbering
07:08 to the skin fade to high fade lower fade whatever you want whatever the skill you want with GBBA
07:17 they can teach you so they have some great barbers
07:24 there obviously I'm one of them
07:28 so yeah
07:33 now let's go with this powder
07:49 yes
07:57 so as you can see that
08:11 the line if it's need any more
08:18 clean then you can do it
08:20 there we go if you think you need to tidy up a little bit more then yes why not you can do it
08:37 with the foil the foil has twice more shorter than the blade what I would say is if you're
08:46 doing with the foil make sure you're not going to too high as soon as you go high
08:51 you're going to make much harder for yourself so basically especially if you're
08:57 new to the skin fade it's absolutely you will get stuck and then nobody can rescue you
09:06 unless some good hairdresser is next to you
09:13 okay I'll show you with the blade
09:14 if you're doing with the foil I'm just doing the bottom part I'm not getting any high but when you
09:25 come off blending in always use the edge just gently don't use the edge because as I say the
09:34 blade the foil is nearly twice or three times more shorter so basically you can't say it's like the
09:42 skin it's taking the hair from inside the skin so no any hairs is left so that's why be careful
09:51 to not go any higher now I'm not going to take your time to do all of this because it's going
10:06 to take a little bit while well the more the hair is a softer is better to blend it in so this is
10:13 one and a half this is zero this is blade now before that says this one to that one one and
10:22 a half to zero so this here if you go with one millimeters one millimeter or two millimeter
10:31 with the green this one with the green
10:34 the green is much easier to blend it into number one and a half or to number one
10:46 so what I say use the more you soften that line it's more easier to blend so now you can see
10:57 that line it has been softened quite well so there you go
11:02 so we have softened that line
11:09 I'm going around two millimeters
11:16 so
11:24 now I'm going quite flat I'm not using the edge of the clipper I'm just going very very flat
11:42 once it's flat I'm touching the scalp so making sure no any dark hairs is left and everywhere
11:48 every single hair is exactly the same so no line whatsoever and there we go so when you're done that
11:56 make sure both sides is the same
12:08 now this line here the top line is very very easy to blend it into number one so with number one if
12:14 you go over it is going to be blending in now this is is not the main priority now to blend it in
12:21 the main priority is is the blending in the zero the bottom part to the skin fade now I'm going to
12:28 show you that one now think about it this is zero skin fade and this is zero so blade to the zero
12:40 now the more you soften this line the more easy to blend into zero so I would say
12:47 if you can go up half centimeters with with very fine clipper half centimeters
12:55 so
13:20 look can you just take my colour from me I think it should be fine now
13:23 now this this one is only creating one softer line so I don't want is very strong line
13:36 um and after I create this line half centimeters all the way around
13:44 and that mean with zero I'm not going to go any higher so that is my line and from there I'm going
13:51 to work around it make sure I'm not taking too much hair from here so mainly my zero is going
13:57 to be blending into here to this line and with zero when I come I'm going to just soften this
14:02 line and it's perfectly it's going to be blending in so half centimeters everywhere so when I go
14:09 with detailers with clippers small detailers then this line is going to be perfectly blending in
14:15 but with detailers when I go up from here to there I'm making sure I'm not going to pass this line
14:20 that's why I'm creating this that line so this half centimeters is crucial so this is one way
14:28 you can do several different ways yes fine yeah everything's done
14:34 now I'm going to just quickly show you with one side
14:45 because the light is more here I'll show you this side first
14:52 now I can't see my line maybe from the light you can see so just with zero with the detailers
15:00 if you go like that and make sure you're not passing that line so basically my clipper is
15:05 just working between between the um where I create this with this clipper once half centimeters so
15:16 that line is around here so now with details I'm working between the blade and that so I'm not
15:22 going to the top line so I'm just working between and and I'm just flicking the clipper make sure
15:29 that I'm not creating any more lines so just blending into that line so still that zero
15:35 you should blend in this perfectly okay so my main priority here to not leave any line the bottom part
15:42 so I'm not concentrating the top line making sure I'm not going to pass the top line well the main
15:48 priority is to soften the bottom line no more lines is left if you can finish this one with
15:54 that line then the rest is easy now you can see absolutely no lines is left now here we go so the
16:16 sometimes you need to stretch your skin
16:19 I'm going quite very very flat
16:22 now I have I have been to many courses as well by self to well courses to turn and go courses to
16:36 to few other courses as well sometimes the the well educators or the different educators
16:46 they will say why should you use the hard line well you can make this easy go with zero and
16:52 blending in that's perfectly fine somebody can use just number one and then number half and
16:59 then go just the bottom part to make zero to easy easy pieces this is not hard but the difference
17:06 between the hard line and the classic skin fade they have different shape different style so this
17:14 this one is give more details is give more shape is give completely different haircut it look
17:21 different cut look different ways it's looking and it's all about the styles how you're gonna
17:26 show that style to the customers that people from outside they're looking wow I like that hair
17:33 because my hair is not same as everybody else is that has more details in it so that is different
17:38 so it's about the look otherwise if we're gonna make everybody's the same skin fade then bloody
17:46 hell everybody's gonna be working walking on the street with same haircuts so this is not about the
17:50 just go for the easy way to go more signature to give more personality to the hair so that
17:57 is all about it's not about just a skin fade so you have to know a different way to do it so
18:05 not be disappointing you have a good salon but you can't do it because your next door is doing
18:11 some skin fade is completely different than yours but how he's doing it that's why we're showing you
18:16 how you can do that but we can show you the easy way as well it's absolutely this is fine but the
18:23 important part what you should know as many students they should know the GBBA educators
18:30 they have every skill to teach you so we have we have all the knowledge to teach anybody any skill
18:38 any haircut any style any skin fade any shape so we have that to teach you so here we go that is
18:45 different way to do it and so far this is going to be continuing like that now you can see here
18:52 is the bottom part no lines is left at all so the bottom part lines is finished now here with zero
19:00 with one millimeter i'm going to go and it's perfectly fine and the rest the top one is
19:04 number one it's going to be gladdening thanks for taking for your time and hopefully you have enjoyed
19:10 it and if you have any questions please ask me later i will show you the full result when i
19:18 finish the hair as i said i don't want to take your time because also i have some other things
19:23 i have to get quicker as well so thank you very much guys i'm going to take all this beard
19:29 um i'm going to take the hair a little bit more sharper with the blade as well
19:34 i'm going to make my gents quite nice and handsome all of these handsome looking men
19:37 and i'm going to enter the bba competition and i may send this take
