00:00 Hi everybody, welcome back to my channel.
00:06 Today's makeup look is inspired by Lady Gaga's Super Bowl performance.
00:10 She looks so stunning and I never post back to back tutorials, but I was so inspired by
00:14 her makeup I wanted to film this for you all.
00:16 I hope that you all enjoy and let's get it started.
00:21 I'm going to start off by applying my MAC Painterly Paint Pot all over my lid and all
00:25 the way up to my brow and just a little bit right under the eyes because we will be applying
00:30 product there as well.
00:32 I absolutely love this look.
00:34 I'm so happy I can make this for you all.
00:36 And then I'm also just going to apply it to my lips, just very little, just so it neutralizes
00:41 them because they're looking pink and Gaga has no lips going on.
00:44 And I'm taking my Naked Basics palette and taking this lighter tan color and applying
00:48 it as my transition color.
00:50 This will go right above my crease and then I'm going to blend it out.
00:54 Now, this is an important step to making sure that your eyeshadow is well blended and this
00:59 is how I get a flawless look.
01:01 I blend the heck out of these colors and it is time consuming, but the end result is absolutely
01:07 gorgeous.
01:08 So, as you can see, I'm taking my time, drinking my coffee and blending away.
01:13 This process is not easy.
01:15 I just always say, if you're going to do it right, do it right.
01:18 If not, don't do it at all.
01:20 Then I'm taking this darker color from the palette and placing it right on my crease.
01:24 If you just look down a little bit, you'll be able to see where your crease is.
01:27 And if you don't have much of a lid space, you can create your own crease by going slightly
01:32 past your natural crease.
01:33 Then I'm going to bring it all the way in because she does bring it all the way in based
01:38 off of the pictures and the video that I saw.
01:40 And then you want to go ahead and darken this up just a little bit.
01:43 You want to just focus right on the crease area and then just darken up that color right
01:48 on the crease and blend it out.
01:50 And again, you want to just build this color slowly.
01:53 So add little by little rather than too much at once and then it'll be too difficult to
01:57 blend everything out.
02:00 I decided to allow this to keep recording so you guys can actually see how I even out
02:05 both eyes.
02:06 And again, I look down slightly so that I know exactly where my crease is and everything
02:11 looks even with the other eye.
02:13 And that's the easiest way to do it.
02:15 Sometimes when you eyeball it, it can be difficult to kind of make both of them the same.
02:20 But if you kind of look down like I told you guys, you can actually see exactly where the
02:23 line should go and it'll make your eyes look even and well proportioned.
02:29 And then just go ahead and do the same steps by blending and building the color to the
02:33 desired intensity.
02:34 I'm going to build it quite a bit just because her eyes looked a little dark in this area.
02:39 Then I'm going in with this matte vanilla light color and then I'm going to use it as
02:43 my highlight.
02:44 These are very like standard colors so you don't have to use this palette.
02:48 You can just use any eyeshadow that's close to these colors and use it for this look.
02:53 Then I'm going ahead and using this brush to blend as well.
02:56 This is my Mac 252 brush and I love it for highlighting these areas because this step
03:03 also helps me with removing any harsh lines that I could have created with the darker
03:07 tones which happens quite often.
03:12 Then I'm going in with my Mac feline eyeliner which is the one I've been using since I started
03:17 YouTube videos.
03:18 It is my absolute favorite.
03:20 When it first came out, it wasn't permanent.
03:22 It was not a permanent liner and then I guess the YouTube videos got so popular and everybody
03:27 was using this that they decided to make it a permanent in their collection.
03:33 What I like about it is that it blends out really nicely and that's why we're using it
03:36 as a base.
03:37 Then I'm going in with my Mac 219 and blending it out.
03:41 We're going to use this as our base of course.
03:43 You don't need a painterly paint pot or a black base.
03:46 You can use your liner and then just blend this out.
03:49 As you can see, I'm not going all the way to my crease, slightly under and then blending
03:54 it out.
03:56 About feline, you have to set it if you don't want it to run if you're going to use it as
03:59 an eyeliner because it does smudge and this is why I love it for smoky eyes too.
04:06 Then I'm taking my Makeup Forever eyeshadow that's red.
04:09 It's actually a blush I think.
04:11 And then just packing it on my lid using a Mac 239 brush.
04:16 We're creating this dark base so that when we apply our glitter, our skin doesn't peek
04:21 through because that can happen and then it just won't look so good.
04:24 Then I'm going to go back in and blend out right on the crease area using the dark brown
04:29 color that we used earlier and make these colors come together right where they meet.
04:34 Then I'm going to use my glitters.
04:36 I'm using some from BH Cosmetics and my sugar liquid which I have to say I don't like.
04:41 It irritated my eyes.
04:43 But that's all I had handy so I'm going to go ahead and apply this right on the lid and
04:47 then going all the way up to my crease because she took it pretty high up so just pack it
04:53 on very carefully and don't allow this liquid to get into your eyes because it will irritate
04:57 them.
04:58 Then I'm going to go back in with the dark brown color and then just apply it right on
05:02 the crease to blend everything out.
05:05 Now I'm taking my eyeliner.
05:06 This one's from Chanel and it's called Claire.
05:08 I'm applying it to my waterline.
05:10 Then since I had so much fallout I'm going to apply my NARS Radiant Concealer right under
05:14 my eyes and blending it out.
05:16 I'm using a dry beauty blender.
05:20 I didn't feel like wetting it but it did the job.
05:25 Now I'm going in with the darker brown color and applying it to my lower lash line.
05:30 That's all she had on her lower lash line was just like a brown color that was really
05:35 well blended.
05:36 She really didn't connect it to the inner 1/3 so we're going to just slightly blend
05:40 it towards the inner part of our eyes but it won't drag on.
05:45 The color won't drag on.
05:47 Then for my lower lashes I'm using my MAC Opalash Mascara which I love.
05:51 It's just so dark and beautiful.
05:52 I love this one.
05:53 It makes them look really full and almost fake.
05:56 I don't know how this mascara applies to the upper lashes though.
05:59 Then I'm taking this shimmery tone from the palette and I'm applying it to my tear duct
06:03 because she did have a slight shimmer.
06:06 When I saw her pictures.
06:09 Then I'm using my Hoola bronzer and I'm going to bronze away because her face looked bronzy.
06:15 Not a lot of blush going on.
06:17 Just a tiny bit so I'm going to use this one from Palladio.
06:19 It's a matte blush in a very light pink tone but I'm not going to do too much.
06:24 Just add a little bit of color.
06:28 Since Lady Gaga had some really plump lips I'm going to use this full lips thingy.
06:33 It really does work and I don't use it all the time.
06:36 Just sometimes.
06:37 Then I'm going to apply my favorite lipstick of all time.
06:39 This one is MAC Blankety.
06:41 It's the perfect nude tone you guys.
06:42 It has a slight pink undertone and then it doesn't dry out your lips.
06:48 So I just absolutely love it.
06:49 I don't know what it is about this one.
06:51 I've gone through like 10 of them.
06:53 I just bought a new one and I love it.
06:59 And that's it for this tutorial.
07:00 I hope that you all enjoyed this video.
07:02 I really enjoyed filming this for you all.
