Three-Cylinder Turbocharged Engine, 300 Hp, New Toyota GR Corolla Circuit Edition 2024

New Toyota GR Corolla Circuit Edition Returns for 2024 in Blue and Gran Turismo
Toyota will make another 1,600 Circuit Edition cars for the 2024 model year.

The hottest hatch in Toyota's lineup returns with the updated Circuit Edition for model year 2024. This GR Corolla comes with everything we love about the 2023 car, but there are also a few improvements. Here's a breakdown of what customers and gamers can expect in the near future.

The Circuit Edition is a step up from the model's base coat, the GR Corolla Core. For 2024, it comes with the same forged carbon fiber roof as last year, a large glossy black rear spoiler and Torsen limited-slip differentials. It also gets sports seats upholstered in Brin Naub suede and faux leather, and a JBL premium sound system.

Exclusive changes for this 2024 model year include a new Blue Flame exterior paint color with special blue interior highlights. It will also come with minor tweaks to the front air duct and chassis for better aerodynamics and handling. Toyota says it also replaced the mounting bolts for the steering gear, rear suspension, and battery ground.

The new forged aluminum 18-inch wheels are similar to the ones coming in the super hot MORIZO edition of 2023. Around these buyers will be Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires.

Under the hood is the same three-cylinder turbocharged engine as last year. It continues to develop 300 hp (223 kW) and 273 lb-ft (369 Nm) of torque. This power is directed to all four wheels via an intelligent all-wheel drive system and a six-speed manual transmission only.

Toyota says the new GR Corolla Circuit Edition will go on sale this fall and will tell us more about pricing between now and then. Only 1,600 will be produced, and there's no final word on exactly how many more GR Corolla will be available.

Finally, Toyota has confirmed that the GR Corolla will soon be available to Gran Turismo players worldwide. They haven't said exactly when the virtual car will launch in the Playstation exclusive, but at least it won't be limited to 1,600 units like the real car, and dealers won't have a chance to mark it.
