00:20 Yes, for this list, we'll be looking at the most
00:22 one-sided victories in the entire Pokemon anime.
00:25 Did we miss any embarrassing beatdowns?
00:28 Let us know in those comments below.

00:43 Number 10, Ash vs. Casey.
00:47 Every trainer has to start somewhere,
00:49 but despite that, Ash didn't hold back one bit
00:52 when the newbie Casey challenged him to a three-on-three.
00:56 - Ash is gonna battle her with Charizard!
00:58 - I think this game is gonna be a shutout!
01:00 - The three-part is really just a technicality, though.
01:03 Ash's Charizard could have won this in his sleep.
01:07 In fact, he pretty much does.
01:09 Casey's first two Pokemon bounce right off his stomach
01:12 without any fanfare.
01:14 - Casey, maybe you better quit.
01:16 - My grandpa says it ain't over 'til it's over,
01:18 and this match is a long way from over!
01:21 - She saves her best for last,
01:23 but since her ace is a Grass-type, Chikorita,
01:26 you can imagine how that went.
01:28 The most embarrassing part of this match
01:30 isn't that Casey failed to hurt Charizard.
01:33 It's that Ash's Fire-type clinched the win
01:36 without even taking a single step.
01:38 - Ugh! I can't believe it was a total shutout!
01:42 Chikorita, return!
01:44 - Number 9, Ash vs. Hop.
01:48 Pikachu's delivered a few shocking conclusions in his day,
01:51 but this one might just take the cake.
01:54 After all, Hop strolled up to Ash,
01:56 eager, confident, and ready to fight.
01:59 - I wonder if he knows that you're a member of the Masters Eight.
02:02 - I heard that!
02:04 - Even though he opened up with a mere Wooloo,
02:06 his pride suggested that this would be a good match.
02:10 The battle began, Pikachu made the first move,
02:12 and just like that, Hop and his Wooloo were KO'd.
02:16 - Ah!
02:18 - Ah!
02:19 - Whoa!
02:21 - The fight was over before the poor rookie
02:23 even had a chance to react.
02:25 Then again, it's hard to feel too bad for him,
02:28 considering he's the one who decided to challenge Ash
02:30 in the first place.
02:32 - A one-hit win! Naturally!
02:34 Now I totally see why my brother likes you!
02:37 - Number 8, Ash vs. Cassandra.
02:40 - Just this once, since it's for a good cause,
02:42 we're gonna let Paris win, okay?
02:44 - Okay.
02:45 - Let's make one thing very clear.
02:47 Cassandra's Paris didn't just lose any old fight.
02:51 No, it lost a match that Ash and Pikachu
02:54 were actively trying to throw.
02:56 It was all a convoluted scheme to give the lowly bug type
02:59 some confidence, but it majorly backfired
03:02 when even Pikachu's wimpiest Thunderbolt
03:04 still shocked it into oblivion.
03:06 Paris didn't even try to fight back either.
03:09 - Oh, no!
03:10 - Hey, that wasn't fair!
03:12 - But it was humiliating.
03:14 - What a pathetic parrot.
03:15 - To make matters worse, Ash sent out
03:17 his disobedient Charmeleon for round two.
03:20 But with a single Flamethrower,
03:22 the second match ended even quicker than the first.
03:25 It's a wonder how Paris' ego ever bounced back
03:28 from this one-two punch of defeat.
03:30 - Paris! Paris!
03:32 - Paris, wait!
03:34 - Number 7, Ash vs. Sabrina.
03:37 At first, a lone Abra doesn't seem all that intimidating.
03:41 - I don't get it.
03:42 Nobody sends a sleeping Pokémon into a match.
03:44 Maybe she's making fun of me.
03:46 - But as Ash soon learned,
03:48 Sabrina didn't earn the title of Gym Leader for nothing.
03:51 Right from the start, Abra's teleportation ability
03:54 makes a joke out of Pikachu's attacks.
03:57 And that's before it evolves.
03:58 Halfway through, Sabrina triggers Abra's evolution
04:02 into Kadabra.
04:03 - Kadabra!
04:09 - What's that?
04:11 - Kadabra!
04:12 - Then the newly-grown Psychic-type
04:14 proceeds to use Pikachu's own attack
04:17 to shock him into submission.
04:19 It's bad enough to clearly lose to a Gym Battle,
04:22 let alone at the hands of your own techniques.
04:24 Suffice it to say, Ash's crippling loss
04:27 left a wound that not even Nurse Joy could fully fix.
04:30 - That's it! Stop the match!
04:34 - Boom!
04:36 - Pikachu! Are you all right?
04:38 - Number 6, Ash vs. Whitney.
04:41 Officially, Whitney has three Pokemon on her team.
04:44 But really, her entire victory hinges upon just one partner.
04:48 More specifically, on one move.
04:51 - Miltank, use Rollout Attack!
04:53 - Whooo!
04:55 - Hup!
04:57 - See, after losing her first two Mons to Ash,
05:02 Whitney brought out Miltank to steamroll the competition.
05:05 And that's exactly what it did.
05:07 Ash's exhausted Cyndaquil went down first.
05:11 Then Totodile tried to slow it down with a Water Gun,
05:14 but it eventually fell to the wayside too.
05:17 - Be careful, Ash! My Miltank's Rollout
05:19 gets stronger and stronger as it rolls!
05:21 - Maybe I...
05:24 Totodile, get out of the way!
05:26 - Pikachu hit the field last,
05:30 but by then, not even a full-powered Thunderbolt
05:33 could stop Miltank's Rollout.
05:35 Instead, it barreled right through Ash's hopes,
05:38 and all without taking so much as a scratch.
05:42 Talk about utter humiliation.
05:44 - Long as she has Miltank, there's no reason to have a rematch.
05:51 - Yeah, they seem pretty unbeatable.
05:54 - Number 5, Ash vs. AJ.
05:58 - Ha ha ha. Let's get started then.
06:01 Sandshrew, go!
06:04 [triumphant music]
06:07 - By the time he got his second badge,
06:10 Ash had assembled a pretty strong team of Pokémon.
06:13 Not that it mattered when he challenged AJ.
06:16 The trainer had some less-than-charitable methods
06:18 of training his partners.
06:20 It's not exactly recommended, but the results are hard to deny.
06:24 - Too bad Sandshrew can't fly.
06:27 - Despite facing two airborne opponents,
06:33 it only took AJ Sandshrew a single blow each
06:36 to secure the win.
06:37 His performance was so commanding,
06:39 Pikachu refused to step into the ring at all.
06:42 - Come on, Pikachu, you've got to help your friends.
06:45 - Pikachu!
06:47 - Although, considering how well Sandshrew fared
06:49 against Pidgeotto and Butterfree,
06:51 Pikachu probably wouldn't have made much of a difference anyway.
06:54 Number 4, Ash vs. Mirror Serena.
06:58 - Prepare yourselves for a one-on-one Pokémon battle,
07:02 and begin!
07:04 - Whether he's from their world or not,
07:06 Ash and his Froakie are not to be taken lightly.
07:09 Unfortunately, this mirrored version of Serena
07:11 had to learn that lesson on the battlefield.
07:14 Sure, you could argue that her Fennekin
07:16 had an incredibly bad type matchup
07:18 against the Water Starter,
07:20 but that doesn't exactly matter when Serena's partner
07:23 couldn't even land a hit at all.
07:25 Froakie's double team made him impossible to pin down,
07:28 all the while Fennekin was a sitting fox.
07:31 - Bubble!
07:33 - As if to really rub it in,
07:37 Froakie finished the job with a measly Bubble Attack.
07:41 The normal Serena isn't exactly winning any regional leagues,
07:45 but at least she puts up a better fight than this one.
07:48 - I would never lose to the Ash I know, so I have to.
07:52 I guess you're Ash from another world.
07:54 - Number 3, all of Team Rocket's fights.
07:57 Jessie, James, and Meowth had a really nasty habit
08:00 of being blasted off again.
08:02 - Too late, but not for the fireworks.
08:06 - But like a moth into a flame,
08:08 they kept coming back for more.
08:10 You would think that over the years,
08:12 they'd come up with some better schemes,
08:14 or at the very least, train their Pokémon a little bit more.
08:17 Instead, Jessie and James' "partners"
08:20 usually get thunderbolted into ashes right along with them,
08:23 oftentimes without even landing an attack.
08:26 - We're blasting off again!
08:30 - Still, you've got to give Team Rocket some credit.
08:34 Even though they received a lot more pain than they doled out,
08:37 Jessie, James, and Meowth always persevere,
08:40 at least until they inevitably get blasted off again.
08:44 - We're blasting off again!
08:47 - Number 2, Pikachu vs. Raichu.
08:51 - Use the strategy we planned, Pikachu!
08:54 You can do it!
08:56 - A strategy?
08:58 So they've been planning a new way to lose.
09:00 - This rematch was so much more than a standard gym battle.
09:04 It was a fight for Pikachu's pride.
09:06 He had to prove that he could fight without evolving,
09:09 and thankfully, he did it in positively electrifying fashion.
09:13 Rather than trying to compete with Raichu's overbearing strength,
09:17 Ash's partner used its superior speed
09:19 to literally run circles around the competition.
09:23 - Hey, what?
09:25 - All right!
09:27 - Do it, Pikachu!
09:28 - Lieutenant Surge's ace got dizzy just by looking at him,
09:32 never mind trying to land an attack.
09:34 As a matter of fact, the only thing quicker than Pikachu
09:37 is how fast this fight wrapped up.
09:39 After their first match ended in brutal defeat,
09:42 it's incredibly satisfying to see Ash so handily win round two.
09:46 - You should be proud.

10:07 Number one, Muk vs. Bellsprout.
10:10 No matter what, you can't say Jeanette's Bellsprout didn't have some serious moves.
10:15 It danced through all of Ash's team like they were nothing.
10:18 Well, all of them except for Muk.
10:21 - Huh, I don't know what surprises me more.
10:23 The fact that he's using Muk or the fact that he thought ahead.
10:26 - Ash's poison type had a body made of sludge,
10:29 and boy, did it know how to use it.
10:31 Bellsprout's limber movements had no effect on Muk,
10:34 and in return, Ash's Pokémon delivered a body slam
10:37 the grass type will never forget.
10:40 [dramatic music]
10:43 - [gasps] Bellsprout!
10:44 - Okay, Muk, time for a body slam attack!
10:47 [bellsprout roars]
10:51 - Bellsprout!
10:52 - Bellsprout didn't give up,
10:53 but even fighting from the inside,
10:55 its attacks didn't do a thing.
10:57 In the end, Muk took the victory
10:59 with nothing more than a little indigestion to show for it.
11:03 - Bellsprout.
11:05 - Bellsprout is out of the match,
11:06 and the fourth round victory goes to green trainer Ash Ketchum!
