Here's five things to do next week in Edinburgh.

00:04 this weekend. Starting off in the south side of the city, Edinburgh's only free-to-enter
00:09 food festival returns for its ninth year in George Square Gardens. Offering a full menu
00:15 of activity, people can enjoy food and drink on the day at the Global Kitchen, take produce
00:20 home from the Producers' Market and there'll also be a range of live events taking place
00:25 in the Treehouse Kitchen. The Edinburgh Food Festival runs until July 30th. English band
00:32 The Levellers, known for hit songs 'What a Beautiful Day', 'One Way' and 'Fifteen Years'
00:36 will be performing tonight at the O2 Academy on Market Street. So if you'd like to see
00:41 Platinum Selling Band, doors open at 7pm and for more information you can check out the O2
00:46 Academy website. Staying with music, Glasgow band Plasticine will be performing at Sneaky Pete's
00:52 at the Cowgate tomorrow. If 90s grunge sound is your thing, then this gig is for you. The
00:57 band are said to be all about noise, melody and attitude. The event's for 18s only and doors open
01:04 at 7pm tomorrow. With the Barbie film coming to cinemas this weekend, Three Sisters and the
01:10 Cowgate are celebrating the launch of their film with an event they're calling their Barbie Boozy
01:14 Brunch. Taking place tomorrow between 12 and 3, guests will get Prosecco on Arrival, a cocktail
01:20 of their choice and an item from the brunch menu. Tickets cost £25 and staff are encouraging all
01:27 guests to come dressed as Barbie or Ken. And finally, Manchester band Inspiral Carpets are
01:34 back with a series of shows for the first time since 2015. Performing at Liquid Rooms on Victoria
01:40 Street tonight, doors open at 7pm so if you want to see one of the infamous Manchester scene bands
01:46 they'll be playing their hit singles This Is How It Feels, Saturn 5 and She Comes to Fall.
